Congratulations!!!! I can completely understand your worries and thoughts about wanting twins! Our Dr said it would be a miracle to have one of our own... In 1998 we attempted our first IVF we had one good emby and a couple not so great. We transferred the two best back and conceived twins. My Beta at 11dp5dt was 125. Since we have completed 10 more IVF`s and a few FET and nada all BFN. We had our miracles! A beautiful baby girl who is now 2.5 and a beautiful memory of a little boy who fought hard but was stillborn.
Our Dr was sure we were `lucky` and really recommended that we use donor. We now do. In early September we were given 2 poor grade donor embies and transferred both( a chance they might work). One split and we were expecting triplets.....we micarried ust before christmas. (my betas were very low)
In June we were again donated 4 embies - 2 survived the thaw and were AA. We transferred them both and are expecting twins on February 11th, 2012. My Betas were as follows, definately lower compared to many but hgher than my successful twin pregnancy in 2008. 6dp5dt 30.63 8dp5dt 105 10dp5dt 232.4 12dp5dt 432.2 We have had a couple of ultrasounds and have very nice hb`s
I wish you well and if you want twins my fingers are crossed. Let us know when you get your ultrasound.Last edited by SophiasMom; 07-23-2011 at 09:11 AM.

Congrats on your twins!! You must be so excited and happy! I'm excited for you!
I'm sorry to hear of everything you've through. It must've been tough! This is my first IVF cycle and I'm crying, whining, and complaining like a child.....and you've been through the grind. I couldn't be more happy to for you that you got your happy ending! =)
Thanks for your reply and I wish much luck! Keep me posted!
Big Hugs

I went into my u/s this morning......1 sac, 1 heart beat! They took forever to locate the heartbeat. It literally took 30 minutes of probing. I was already pale white thinking it was an empty sac. They also had to look at my tubes worried that the 2nd embryo might have implanted in my one of tubes. Apparently, I can have to 2 pregnancies in 2 different places. But they didn't seem to find anything in the tubes this morning. I do have swollen ovaries and they found a couple of cysts in my left ovary and some fluid.
I was really hoping for twins. But I'll take the singleton. =)

HI Ladies! I am new to this board... and would like some advice!
VERY happy to be PREGNANT.
Due May 2nd.
I underwent a successful FET Aug 12th, and have pretty low BETA #s. They are average numbers for a singleton. But my Doc says we could be surprised and see two! What do you think? My u/s isn't until next Monday.
FET Aug 12
BETA 1 (8dpt) 30
BETA 2 (10dpt) 60
BETA 3 (20dpt) 1551
What do you think? One or two? I am thinking ONE. My first son (born via fresh cycle IVF) had similar numbers.37 - PCOS
DH 43
Clomid - NO success
IUI 3x - NO success
IVF in Sept of 2009 - SUCCESS!
Baby boy born June of 2010

FET - Aug 12th, 2011 - SUCCESS!
Beta #1: 30 (8dpt)
Beta #2: 60 (10dpt)
Beta #3: 1551 (20dpt) YAY!
Ultrasound Sept 12 - We saw ONE healthy baby with a heart rate of 140
Ultrasound Sept 30th - HR 176 and growing!
Due May 2, 2012
