Hi-I am new to the Boards and have been lurking around a bit and would appreciate to hear your thoughts. I have been quite nervous.
My hcg levels at 18dpo was 4264 and to me seem higher than anything I've found on these boards. I've been waiting for two weeks for my u/s as they wouldn't test my betas again so I have no idea how they've doubled, said it was too high to worry. I'm freaking a bit and would like to know your thoughts. I know my dpo date is accurate or at most one day off. Could the blood test be wrong? It seems from what I've read in these threads and the beta web site, I can count on at least two in there.
My history: I'm 42 with two children 3 and 6 naturally, this time have had 4 iuis with 3 rounds of clomid, one with femara which I had a m/c (hcg at 18dpo was 155), two more rounds of femara no monitoring, second time wow big numbers! Monitoring showed I usually had two eggs maturing. We are absolutely stunned as the RE said we had only a 1-2% chance of conceiving without ivf at my age.
Thanks for any reassurance or info.

Thank you for your responses and support. I have a few more days to wait before my u/s. It's been a long two weeks. From all I've read I don't know how there can't be at least two. I never imagined this could happen.
