RJC - This may not help at all but I just wanted to add that with my last little guy, I had an u/s at 5 weeks 4 days and we only saw a gestational sac and yolk sac, but no fetal pole! Mine was a natural pregnancy 2 mths after having a m/c at 10 weeks, so, of course I was freaked. I also thought that I was about 1 week further along. The tech said that we should see something in 2 weeks and that even a couple of days make a difference.
I ended up going back exactly 1 week later due to a bleeding episode and there was a beautiful HB! I am thinking very positive vibes for you and sending lots of baby dust!

I freaked out this morning and called the nurse at 6:00. I've been having AF cramps for the past 2 days (no spotting, thanks God), and my temperature has been going down 5 days in a row!!! (98.5- 98.35 - 98.20- 98.15- 98.05 - 97.90!!!!!) I got very anxious this morning when I saw it was below 98. I know I shouldn't chart but I just can't help it. It is the only thing that can show me that this pregnancy is going well. My coverline is 97.5, so it's still high, but scary. I've read so much about it that I was fearing the worst.
So, even though I was scheduled for u/s and bloodwork for tomorrow, my nurse was very understanding and let me go in today. We were able to see a dot in my uterus, but that's just it. THe tech said something like "it's still too early, it is measurring 4 weeks. I can see a dot on the spot where it should be, let's hope that's the little one. Linning went up to 11 and there was no bleeding in the uterus". I don't have the beta results jet, I will later on today or tomorrow morning.
I'm feeling calmer now, but still many things cross my mind. Did she said 4 weeks? I thought I'd be 5 tomorrow! Shouldn't I trust the temperatures? I haven't had much cramping today, so at least that's good. I took a HPT and went positive RIGHT away and stronger than ever, so, at least I know the betas are higher... But how higher?
I'll have to wait.
Thank you ladies for listening...
Have a good day everybody

Hello
Hi Ladies,
I am hoping for some reassurance and I seem to be at the same point as all of you. Of course, this is a difficult thing to talk about with friends/family so I really need some help.
My short story, TTC #2 for 15 months, after first clomid/IUI cycle (I O really late so trying to move it up) I got a BFP on 13dpo.. it was faint. Dr. wanted me to come in for beta at 15dpo - if was only 30. At 17 dpo - 67 - more than doubled. Then, redraw at 24dpo and it was 573 - 55+ hours doubling. I'm scared. DH is so optimistic but besides some fatique last week and sore boobs I dont feel anything. I didn't have any real M/S symptoms with DS either. I am on prometrium and am scared all is not okay. It will be devastating.
I'm scared that if I am meant to M/C that it might be delayed because I'm on Prometrium (200 mg a day)... I just dont know how I can wait. I convinced Dr. with my betas to do an U/S at my 8 week apt (April 20th). I'm currently 6wks 3 days. No spotting and some slight cramps but not sharp pains or anything... But maybe the no-spotting is from prometrium??? SOrry to jump in here, but it looks like we are all in a similar boat and I'm so scared. I want this bub so bad! DS, wants a sibling so bad. He's 21 months and will turn 2 in June... Thanks in advance for any advice or help... right now it's just hard to find support.

tfosh - I know it is difficult not to worry. But the chances are things are good. Betas need to double within 48 to 72 hours - so you are well within that window.
I know of other girls that were on Prometrium and still bled/spotted when they started to miscarry. In fact it doesn't seem to stop your period from coming if there is a dramatic drop in your hcg.
7 weeks is when you can see the heartbeat - so 8 weeks is a very good indicator of how things are going. I am sure that things will be fine and all is well. Hang in there, think good thoughts.1st on our own missed miscarriage at 10 weeks (triploidy)

Tfosh- We need to stay calm and believe everything is going to be fine. Cpgal is right, I've heard that too. I'm also on prometrium but I'm taking 600mg a day!!! The 20th is closer, try to keep yourselft busy with DS and DH in between. Your betas are doubling, slower than other people, but doubling!!! And that's all it matter. Mine are not the faster either but I'm trying to think this baby is a healthy one

Cpgal- great little ones you have in there!!

tfosh - So sorry for what you are going through. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy! It's a dreadful wait. I used to think there was no such thing as a little bit pregnant...you either are or your not.
I can SAY try to be strong, but I KNOW it's easier said than done. Regardless, keep talking to your bub and tell him that together you can give it the best fight you can. That's what I say to my little bean.
Best wishes! Many blessings!Rhonda & DH

Delilah.C - Thanks for the encouragement and sharing your FET success story. I really need it right now.

The RE isn't real hopeful, given no h/b with a beta of 7200 and 7.1 wks. I inserted estrace yesterday and noticed some blood. I've definately got some spotting going on in there now, despite being on lining support. My last beta was Thursday and it was over 10K and rising as it should. But I've heard it can still do that for awhile. I've not had enough bleeding to even stain a tissue much, but it's scary.
Maybe I'll be pleasently surprised on Monday, but I am doubtful. Atleast I've got the weekend to come to terms with this. I can't even look at my dh right now. I hate putting him through this. Somehow the guilt takes over even when I know it's out of my control. Right now about the best I can hope for is to pass everyone on my own and not have to have a D&C.
Thanks for your support everyone! Many blessing to all of you!Rhonda & DH

Rhonda- I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. This road is so tough I have no words to explain. We desire a baby with all our heart and we do everything we can to success. I don't understand why, loving mothers-to-be, have to experience and live through moments like this. You're in my thoughts. I hope everything solves fine for your little bean. I have heard of cases of not hearing hb until a ridiculus week in second trimester!!! but, as baby keeps growing, it means she's fine. I know, very weird. One more day and you'll find out more, hopefully all good news. Best of luck.
