HCG levels

Does anybody know why some people have very high hcg levels and others have low hcg levels? I know that an embryo could of implanted later - but is that the only reason?

These are mine - I have been doubling fine but so much lower than others - it is like I am 2 days behind averages. I go in for a 7 week ultrasound next Thursday - but I am still just so nervous becuase they are a lot lower than average. Do you think my fertilized embryo floated around a few more days until it implanted? Does that make a difference in due dates?

15 dpiui: 36
21 dpiui: 505
26 dpiui: 2598

Thanks! Mollie

The way I understand it, some people just produce Hcg slower than others. It is the doubling that is important.

Congratulations!

Thanks for all the support. I saw the baby's heartbeat on Thursday (129) so I feel much better. Now I can believe it!
