Could it be Twins? Anyone with high betas and with singleton?
Hi,
I am stressing a little about my high betas. Beta#1 13dpiui was 164. Beta#2 15dpiui was 508!! More than tripled! Nurse said it was not too high. Anyone with betas this high and only a singleton?

My day 13 beta with my youngest was 126 and day 20 was 3377. It was a singleton pregnancy. I don't think your numbers look too high! Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Thanks everyone for your feedback!!!
Athena - I went to the lab on Sunday, Monday was a holiday, and I've been too busy at work to call the RE's office to get the 3rd beta result this week. Why do you ask? Is the 3rd beta more telling? I'll call now (it's their lunch time) and leave a message. |

Athena, thanks!
The actual number was 10,039. My memory isn't as bad as I thought it was! Sounds solid, but I'm taking it very cautiously; my last pregnancy had very high HCG levels and ended up in an empty sac at 8 wks. I would LOVE to have twins but I've been told by the nurse practitioner at my RE's office that given the complications I had the last time, it was unlikely I could carry twins to term. So... taking the good numbers cautiously and hoping for the best. |
