Low Beta

My beta was 30 at 13 DPIUI or 12 to 13 DPO. Is the DPIUI more important than DPO? How do I figure out when I ovulated? I took a trigger shot on Fri. at 3:30 and had the IUI Sat. morning at 11. I was starting to surge on Fri. Nurse said that people usually ovulate about 34 hours after the trigger but would I have ovulated earlier if I were already starting to surge. The beta seems very low for 13 DPO but as bad for 12 DPO. Any advice?

You don't ovulate as soon as you surge. It does take about 24-36 hours afterwards. IMO, if you surged Friday, you should could Saturday as your IUI/O day. They should be the same.

My RE likes to see a beta of 50 by 14dpo or 14dpiui. If you are at 30 on day 12, you should be right on schedule!

El2009 - I would think you ovulated on the day of the IUI or after. There are women here who did not even see a faint line until 14dpiui so 30 at day 12 or 13 seem normal. Please let us know how it goes. Best wishes.
