Beta ??? (updated)

Hubby and I just found out today that we are finally pregnant (after 9 years of trying). I went in for beta and progesterone test today but won’t get the results until after my RE finishes his IUI’s tomorrow morning.

The problem is, I have no idea what kind of number I’m looking for here. My LMP was on 23 July and my cycle is normally 31 days, without knowing exactly when I O’d, how do I know what number I’m shooting for at this point? If I guesstimate that I O’d right at the halfway point of my normal cycle length, I *think* that puts me at 20-22 dpo? Can anyone point me in the right direction to get some fairly accurate numbers to hope for?

The RE just called me, my beta is 1400, which since we don't really no when I ovulated he doesn't know if its good or bad. My progesterone is only 8 however and is causing him concern. He's calling in a prescription for some suppositories now and he wants me to come in first thing monday morning to rule out an ectopic.

Anyone heard of success with such a low progesterone number?

My progesterone was around 9 on CD 21 during my pregnancy with DD. It went up, so I didn't need any supplements by the time I had a BFP with her.

I took supplements with both of my pregnancies until I was 12 weeks. My RE prescribed them when my progesterone levels fell to 10.

I have two little girls now and had no further issues with either pregnancy. The progesterone suppositories brought my number right up and everything was fine.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Please update when you can!
