KBoone Level 1
Beta and Progesterone

Hi ladies! I am on my third pregnancy with no live births. At 12 DPO my HCG level was 27 Prog 12.5 at 14 DPO HCG 77 Prog 15. My dr seems completely unconcerned with my progesterone levels being on the lower end. They are completely dismissing my concerns (well the nurse is, my Dr is out of town). This is exactly how my first pg started out which stopped growing about 7 weeks. Please help, any advice?? Thoughts, success stories or non? Do I have a chance of a successful pregnancy? With my 1st loss my HCG numbers did well until 6 weeks, then they started not doubling.

KBoone - Sorry to hear the nurse is not being responsive. I assume this is not an assisted pregnancy and you are using your regular ob/gyn. Does your clinic have an OB coordinator? Perhaps they can help you get to the doctor. My only advise is to keep calling and/or ask for continued bloodwork.

Good luck!

KBoone- I know how you feel in terms of anxiety related to early numbers and wondering if things are going to be ok. You hcg numbers are fantastic though and your progesterone is climbing which is good. You progesterone is on the lower side but you are so early and again the fact that it is going up is a very good sign. You could always call and ask for progesterone support and tell them it will make you feel less stressed and it won't hurt anything. Have you had anymore bw done? You should join us in the April due date board, we are all nervous since it is so early but it is nice to have people to share your concerns with. I hope everything will be ok and third time will be the charm.
