BFP for beta #1 (519) on 8/6/09

Can't believe that my first post is in this forum!

My wife (dx: endometriosis) and I just get out of our 2ww yesterday. After a failed IUI and a failed IVF several years ago, we started a new IVF cycle, 2 fresh embryos 5dt. Yesterday, 8/6/09, 10dp5dt, beta hCG #1 came back 519.

After the blood draw and before the nurse's call to tell the good news, she felt the first cramping, and she knew that it's the babies saying hello. Upon the nurse's call with congratulations, she burst in tears of joy for several hours.

Keeping our fingers crossed...

Sounds like a nice strong beta!! Maybe there's more than one bun in the oven.

Thank you both for your kind words! Beta #2 just came in, 1027. That's almost exactly double in two days! Never felt so good since the whole thing started. Ultrasound in 2-3 weeks.

That's a beautiful first and second beta! Congratulations to you both. Let us know what the ultrasounds shows...maybe more than one? : )
