I had my third IVF transfer on 6/29. My pregnancy test was on 7/11. My test came back positive. My HCG level was 27. Lower than my doctor likes to see,however it's positive. Two days later my HCG level went to 60, two day later to 144, then yesterday 245. Not quite double however it did go up. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard a times when my mind wonders.

Hey there, stay positive. I have seen other women on boards w/ their 1st hcg in the 20's and slowly but surely increase, have you done some research on the web about others having low hcg w/ positive outcome? You may want to do that and uplift your spirits. Do you have another beta scheduled and are you on progesterone?

Thank you for replying. I go in tomorrow for another HCG test. I'll know more then. I'm also having some tingling (not cramping)in my pubic area. I'm not sure what that is. Has anyone else experianced this?

I don't know about the tingling but hey, no bleeding w/ cramping is great

I am 5 weeks 2 days and still get lots of crampiness off and on, ever since my early m/c last year I am super paranoid.

Try not to drive yourself crazy with worry. I know I did when this happened to me. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out well for us last spring.
My beta numbers were: 33.4; 55.5; 95.1; 137; 74; 28...you get the idea.
Your numbers got higher than mine, so I hope you will be one of the lucky ones, and your little bean sticks.

Hello:

Thank you ladies for responding. I had my 4th HCG test today. My level when up to 441 from 245. The nurse told me that the doctor wasn't concerned. I have an u/s on Tuesday.

ddr-Great news, you transferred 1 day after me and my u/s is not til 7/26, please post Tues. evening so we can get a report, I'm curious as to what will be seen at that point. My Re said that they should see a fetal pole, sac and heartbeat at that time, technicall I am 5 weeks and 3 days but we know I am really 3 weeks and 3 days. Just curious. Are you nervous?

ddr, I have experienced those lil tingling cramps also. It's not so much but it's like a small lil pinch. I started having it since Friday after my 3rd Blood work w/the result of 18.2 HCG. From what I've heard these cramps are supposed to be good signs. On Thurs night I had a really bad cramps where my bikini line area where I broke out in cold sweats, crying, and hubby had 2 call Paramedics. Of course they could not give or do anything because we got in touch w/my RE. He said to take some Vicodin. These pain lasted for 45 mins. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. Spoke w/my sister she said that its due to constipation. I haven't had a recurrent on that pain then come those lil tingling cramps and by today (SUN) those lil cramps gone. hmm... kinda worried myself if that's a good or bad thing. hang in there tho...
