Exclamation Low Beta -- Help?

Seems there have been a lot of posts about low Beta's...

I have been TTC for 3 years natural (miscarriage the first year of TTC), and I decided to go to a specialist. Diagnosed with PCOS in April.
I was put on Provera to start my period, got it.
I was put on 1st round of Clomid 50mg, started it CD5-9 and I ovulated!
I had two faint pregnancy tests last week, one the morning I went to the doc for my end of cycle check up (it was an unmonitored cycle).
I got blood drawn for a Beta.
I took my last pg test the next day, which was a digital. Got "PREGNANT" on the screen.
I went the next day for another Beta (Friday).
I just got my results today:

1st Beta (Wed May 27th): 24
2nd Beta (Fri May 29th): 38

They're low, and he told me to come back in for another Beta today....
I'm so worried. I've been trying for 3 years, I just got the positive test...
I know the numbers are positive but they are low. I figured that when I got a pregnant with the digital, it'd be higher.

What do you ladies think? First time with meds.

Thank you so much for a response! I've been wracking my brain trying to keep optimistic. I'm now just waiting for the results from the third one.

low beta

I know how miserable the wait is and if your re is anything like mine he was not helpful at all. He was convinced it would be a m/c or tubal. He had me scared to death. He is still baffled by the slow rise in my #'s but I figure that is his problem! Please post your #'s when you get them and I wish you the best of luck!

Got the result back: 108.

Thank you for chatting with me about it. I have been so worried so I got the positive result. I just want something fullterm.

Monday is my ultrasound. I just wanna hear/see that heartbeat...the last baby didn't have one and died at 8 weeks...I carried it for 11 weeks, 3 weeks after it died.
I just want the reassurance that it's alive.

beta

I know it's hard to try and stay positive when the worst has happened to your before, but that number is increasing, so that baby is alive! I really do think that slow rising #'s are more common than Dr.'s think. I bought a fetal doppler for $30 online after my first ultra sound because my RE does not have a doppler so we could only see the heartbeat not hear it. It took a week or so to hear it, but I can listen all the time now from home I highly recommend itt, although it technically is suppose to start detecting the heartbeat between 10-12 weeks, so I guess we got lucky hearing it at 8.5.

I know, I called my husband as soon as I found out and was crying and trying to say "talked to nurse" and he thought the worse happened, and I started laughing and said it's 108, and it's good. He was like "That was totally mean". I couldn't help crying.

I am very happy.
