HELP- Hope????

Here are my betas. The first four were TERRIBLE... but then there is yesterdays??? I'm trying to be realistic here, but also hoping this is the miracle I've prayed for.

13 DPO- 101
15 DPO- 102
18 DPO- 134
20 DPO- 136
32 DPO- 6 THOUSAND something (didn't ask for the exact #)

What do you think is going on?!?!? Thanks! Lori

Don't lose hope My beta's slowly went up and then started to double and triple after 30p3dt. You could have had a late implanter. When is your ultra sound?

Maybe a vanishing twin pregnancy where both initially implanted and started to produce HCG, but then one didn't continue to develop? When is your ultrasound?

Thanks ladies. As for an ultrasound, I don't have one scheduled yet, but will be requesting one asap. Hoping beyond hope that those first #s were not an indication of how it's going- and this last one is- but also trying to remain realistic.

Hi Hun, I agree with Linden. I had a miscarriage (very early in my pregnancy) in March, but at first my dr. at the fertility clinic said that was what was maybe happening to me. Only my numbers started out good, then went down. Yours continued to rise, just slowly, so it makes even more sense. Hang in there...let us know!

Had my u/s tonight- they did see a gest. sac, but measuring at 4 1/2 to 5 weeks and I should be 6 1/2. I guess that's no good...

Lori--sorry to hear that. Did they advise you on what to do next? Will they do a second u/s?

Well- it turns out my nurse had given me the wrong #. It was 3000 something and then 18 hours later rose to 4000 something. So- they draw more blood next Tues and Thurs and I go for another u/s next Thurs night. I just know I could not be that far off on my dates (I chart) but am hoping it's just slow-going. I doubt it though. I realized also that the u/s didn't measure the sac- just gave a "guesstimate"- so perhaps he was off by a bit. I know, I'm grasping at straws here!

Lori---hang in there....all you can do is wait and see what happens and try not to go crazy in the meantime...easier said than done, I know. I've been in similar situations, but all of mine were after infertility treatments where I knew the exact dates and time that things occurred, so I knew I couldn't be off on my dates. With a natural pregnancy so much can happen at different times, so maybe things will work out for you. Keep us posted and good luck!
