HCG levels???

Hi I am 38 yrs old and have had 2 mc's in the past 6 months. The first mc was in January at 5 1/2 weeks and 2nd in March was a "chemical pregnancy" - wouldnot have known had i not tested at home- I now conceived again (in late April) and my first beta was 422 on 14DPO afternoon and 711 on 16DPO early am. How do these #s sound to you all? I am of course a little worried and concerned and do have my 1st US in1 1/2 weeks during my 6th week. Would love some thoughts! thanks and good luck to you all! emrn

Those numbers sound good to me. They pratically doubled in less than 48 hrs. It would have been interesting to see what the 16dpo number would have been had it been done in the afternoon as well. MY RE always wanted it to double in 72 hours. Congrats!

Dawn

Hi I have the same question. I am 37 dpo and my 1st beta was 417 my second one a week later (this past Friday) was 5191. That number just seems awfully high to me. We saw the sack so we know we only have one in there right now. Any thoughts on my hcg numbers?

Wheresmybaby,

I looked at the calculator here: http://www.obfocus.com/calculators/betahCG.htm and it looks like your numbers are on the quicker side doubling in just under 2 days but I certainly wouldn't think it was anything to worry about. Quicker is always better than slower. Congrats!
