Just plain freaking out.....

Hello all - so my story goes something like this.
LMP was Aug 12th ish - I tested on the day my period was due and it was negative. I waited a week and tested on Wednesday of this week and got a positive. I went to the doctor today they did an u/s and thre was just a sac and nothing in it yet. He said normal for this stage - just an early pregnancy. However the concerning thing for me was that my hcg was only 32.1.

Any one have 32.1 in their 5th week of pg and go on to have a healthy baby?

Well, at 5 weeks, you will only see a sac on the ultrasound. It is possible that the HCG wasn't correct. I know it is difficult to do, but try to relax and I would insist on another ultrasound in 2 weeks. By then you should see a sac, a baby, and a heartbeat. Good luck.

Did you MD suggest a second HCG?
My RE said 30 is still normal- so they recheck in 2 days.
If you took a EPT you're HCG levels are atleast > 25- 50
They double almost every 2 days.

My betas started at 19: 4 days later they were at 41...3 days after that 84...and at 5 weeks 4 days my numbers were 174...I don't know what to do we have had two miscarriages and my dr. just keeps telling me we will check again next week.

Man sounds like you are on a rollercoaster with me! We have also had 2 losses as well. it is so frustrating! did they do an U/s?

I will pray for you, Are you for sure you are counting your ovulation days right? That is where I am hung up, I am not 100% sure if I o'd late or not. I do have a tendancy of doing that. I dont know. Im just at the point where my heart hurts and if it is gonna end just let it end ya kno. The waiting is horrible.

No US yet, she claims that they can't see even a sac...I really wouldn't care at this point, just to give me peace of mind. I have more blood drawn tomorrow to do another beta...the waiting continues! I am not sure of when i ovulated, I guess I am not that in tune with my body. I think because of the way that I felt, I ovulated a little later than expected. I have symptoms such as sore breasts and I can't seem to stay awake because i am so tired. i take those as good signs.
Did you have an US? What is going on with you? I will let you know my new numbers on Tuesday.

I have a beta tomorrow. THey did an ultrasound and saw just a sac that measured right on track. But then this crazy beta. So we will see what tomorrow brings. THey plan as of right now to do another u/s next friday.
Ive been nauseated, really sore breasts and very tired for a couple weeks now..... Please let me know how you do

Everything is going to go wonderfully tomorrow (hopefully for both of us)! I was really sick with my son, but this time just a little nauseated first thing, no dry heaving from my toes!! Please let me know how things go. I will say a prayer for you tonight, but I am sure that it isn't necessary, everything will be just fine! I am praying for high numbers and healthy babies!

well, the numbers are in...my beta only went up to 260...not far enough I am afraid. I just spoke with the nurse, the dr. will call back later to discuss how to proceed. This has been a rough morning.
