High Betas - NEED OPINIONS!

Hi everyone! My DH and I just did our first IVF last month. On Friday I received the exciting news that at 9dp5dt (14 days past ovulation) my beta was 376. Today at 13dp5dt (18 days past ovulation) my beta is over 3,000 (the nurse didn't tell me how much over). Does anyone have similar betas from single, twin or triplet pregnancies??? Thanks so much! Suzi

My numbers were somewhat similar to yours. At 12 dpo it was 655 and at 18 dpo it was 3279.

We had one ultrasound at 5.5 weeks and could barely detect one hearbeat.

With those high numbers, i'm secretly hoping for multiples too. But i won't know till Monday.

My numbers were half that both time and I had two singletons. Congrats on your pregnancy!

And good luck Second Chances!

Second Chances - Congrats and I think 5.5 weeks is very early to detect a heartbeat! I'm hoping for multiples, but of course I'd be thrilled with one healthy baby. My u/s isn't until 9/23, so in the meantime I guess I'll drive myself crazy!!

Hi Suzi -
Here are my numbers and I'm 9 weeks pregnant with a singleton after doing IUI (without fertility drugs). I no longer trust betas for predicting multiples, bc my numbers were very similar when I was pregnant with identical twins.
15dpo - 451
17dpo - 1425

Congratulations!
Heather
