gestational sac smaller (pg mentioned)

Hi all,

Here is my story:
Hi all,

I am a veteran IVFer. Never thought I will ever get BFP.
Here is my history. Unexplained infertility. After 2 years of trying to get pregnant, 3-4 injectible IUIs, 6 Fresh IVFs, 1 FET, with great high implantation potential embryo, great response to medication, never got BFP. All these previous IVF either 2 or 3 embryos 8 or 7 cells grade B Fair embryos. Only in last IVF we transferred 4 embryos all 7 but one 6 with C grade Fair embryo. Never thought it will work as the embryo grade was poor compared to the previous cycle.

Finally BFP. Please ladies don't give up.

Now here are my betas.

3 day transfer.
12 dp3dt 112 prog 50
14 dp3dt 334 prog 60
21 dp3dt 4675 prog 72

I have been instructed to do alternate day PIO after my third beta, I am not sure why. I have beenworried. No blood test until US. Yesterday was my US. We saw heartbeat. The baby measures 7W 0d correctly. But gestational sac is smaller it seems. I am not sure what does it mean. It is measuring 5 f 6d ~8days behind. It seems that they are concerned and asked me to come for US again next week. Anyone experience with smaller Gestational Sac but successful pregnancy. Also it seems I have some fibroid. I am not sure how it will affect pregnancy. I asked this questions, RE doesn't seem to be concerned about this.

I appreciate your input. I am seeing number of posts even after seeing heartbeat, there were miscarriage.

Hope you guys can give me some hope for me.

Pray for all of you. As long as you can try, please don't give up. In fact I was about to give up after this last try. There is nothing like if 5 or several cycle don't work mean the next cycle will not work. It is just timing. ABSOLUTELY.

Regarding symptom. I dont have any, today almost I am 7 weeks 1 day.
But my stomach become big. Little bit big breast. But not sore or any other symptom.

heythere - First let me say how glad I am that your prog. numbers are not your betas (like I first thought when I read it). I personally have not had this problem but have read about it here w/success. Not sure where exactly I saw it though. Maybe do a search? I believe it was labeled much like yours ie. small gestational sac.
Although I did not do IVF my dh & I have bee together for 9yrs. w/out preventing pregnancy and over two yrs. of treatment & I was on my last chance IUI and I too am now pregnant. Still in disbelief - 5w3d - like you I don't think I can relax till much later in the pregnancy. Glad they are having you come back for another u/s!
