Slow and low beta's- any hope for me?

Hi there...I am a newbie but I've been lurking for years. I just got a BFP from my third IUI with femara and trigger. My doctor thinks that I will miscarry for sure. Here are my numbers:

13DPO:78
15DPO:154
20DPO: 356
21 DPO: 467
24 DPO: 772

Obviously it is not doubling in the right amount of time. They've mentioned both ectopic and blighted ovum. Has anybody had a successful pregnancy with these numbers? We'll be moving on to IVF if this does end in miscarriage.

Thanks for your opinions.

Hey, I hate seeing posts with no responses so I wanted to get something off to you. I clearly don't know what your outcome will be, but I am always reassured (personally) when my numbers are increasing with some vigor (whether that means doubling in 24, 48, or 72 hours), especially at the beginning. I feel like I am slightly in your boat now and I am waiting for Wednesday for my first US and 3rd beta. My numbers have been going up, but I would have been left more confident yesterday if my second beta had been a bit higher. I don't know if this will help or not, but I keep reminding MYSELF that things are as they are and if the underlying pregnancy is not progressing as it should, there is simply nothing we can do to change that. The dreadful part is the not knowing and the waiting. I simply hate this part. So, hard to tell with your numbers. I would try to simply get yourself in a place of acceptance one way or the other. And by the way, I had robust, off the chart betas in 2004 that progressed normally, found I was pregnant with triplets, and then lost them all at ~ 7 weeks. So, "abnormal" development sometimes remains concealed in short-term normal betas. I don't know that the converse holds true, but ... Best of luck to you. Be strong and try to keep busy until the final numbers are in.

Well, today, at almost 6 weeks, my number was at 1476, up from 772 three days ago. I have an ultrasound tomorrow to see what is going on.
