Low Beta what does this mean??

Ok I had my beta yesterday 11dpt14dpr it was only 16.6 which they say is pregnant but very low. I heard that normal is usually above 50. My nurse called me today and said they can't say what is gonna happen until friday when I go in for beta #2 I am trying to stay positive but have to be honest that I don't have a good feeling. Anybody every had beta this low?

mine was EXACTLY like yours. I had a 16 at 9dp5dt or 14dpo. It then went like this approx.

18dpo 156
20dpo 425
25dpo 1681

I then unfortunately went through US hell and had a VERY small empty gest sac when there is normally a yolk sac/fetal pole. Somehow I survived it and am 17 weeks with a singleton. It is a very scary position to be in and I am sorry you are going through it. Your next beta should give you some better answers. Ill be looking for an update...

I am going through the same thing you are. I had a 3dt and 14dp3dt my beta was only 27.6. I just had a second beta done today and I'm waiting for the call. Like you, I don't fee very good about the outcome of this pregnancy. It's so hard because you FINALLY get pregnant and then this happens. I don't know what the outcome will be, but I will pray for both of us.

Well I am still in limbo my beta did go up (45) but they still don't know what is going on or if it is even gonna be viable so more waiting I go back Monday for more blood and they also want me to get a sono which I think is way to early not even sure if you can see anything this early

But I am still hoping for a miracle.

I'm in the same boat. I went for a beta today at 13dpo and it was only 44. My prog. was 17. The nurse refused to admit it, but I know that 44 is lower than they want to see. She said it could go either way. I have to go back on Monday for a 2nd blood test. I've already had 3m/c so I'm not feeling very optimistic.

Well my third beta was 89 up but still just to low they are at a loss so they just said I have to wait it out. I had a ultrasound which was inconclusive. I am so ready to know what is going on here.
