beta slowing down...

Hi there, I'm new here and hope I can get a few opinions about my betas. We did an FET transferring two on 7/16, here are my betas

12dp5dt: 563
15dp5dt: 1344
22dp5dt: 4851
25dp5dt: 7115

I had a bit of bleeding the same day as beta#3...my RE and nurse think that I had twins and one didn't continue to grow, explaining the slow down. What does everyone else think? I feel like my betas have slowed down WAY too much...I have an ultrasound this Thursday...the wait is torture.

Thanks for your help,
Nicole

I think that your numbers look fine. They are supposed to slow down and right about on time for you here.

Here is a chart on normal range HCG for the weeks of pg.

Good luck! I would like to hear what you see on the u/s.

Hi Tammy, thank you for your post, I had a fantastic ultrasound. Saw a little heartbeat, and measured 6 weeks 2 days today(thursday) and was 5 weeks 3 days last Friday. I was on cloud nine all day today, until they called with my beta.

monday 25dp5dt: 7115
thursday 28dp5dt: 8954

I really don't know if the slow down could still be attributed to a vanishing twin, or what I really feel is going on, this pregnancy is not meant to be.
I really think...ignorance is bliss.

Hi there, I wanted to update my thread. Six days later, my beta is now over 19,000. I am measuring 7 weeks 1 day(on schedule), heartrate of 142.

I've had a ton of bleeding after my last ultrasound, it seems my body does NOT like the vaginal ultrasounds.

Hopefully we continue on a healthy path!
