SLOW RISING BETA'S --- Worried!!! help

hI Ladies,
hi ladies, Just had an early scan 17th june 08.... . had a little spotting ON 16th morning which was brown and very little to notice..... so had to go for a scan on 17th. My last normal period was on 21st April.

But in the scan it measured only 4-5 weeks the technician told it was just 4-5 weeks and was 5 mm. she told me it looks like a sack (gestational sack?) But the doctor on duty there told my GP...... The scan was in conclusive and ectopic pregnancy was not excluded... I didn't know what she meant.
She asked me to give blood samples for HCG & PROGESTRONE... which i did! and asked me to repeat the test 48 hours later.... the results of my HCG were 4903 and 5921... they are rising but not doubling!!!!! I don't know what to do..... Am just crying as i type in..... Has anybody had LOW HCG and carried on to a fully healthy pregnancy???? ?

Is it posstible my dates could be off or ovulated late?? coz until jan 08 my perios were irregular .. sometimes 40 - 5odays cycle. feb, march and april they were quite normal 28-32 day cycle.???
