Hey there all,
I've been going to various threads and checking out all the comments - this forum is so great with all the support and experience that pours in, so thou' I'm new, I thought I'd leap in & ask - My betas are the lowest I've seen on the board so far. The Dr. has told be to prepare to lose this one. This is my 1st IVF, I'm 41.5 and DH is 43. We did icsi, and had 5 embs. transferred on 5/20. Ist beta on 5/29 = 3 2nd beta on 6/2 = 10 3rd beta on 6/4 = 16. a diff. fert Dr. told me some ladies double every 3 days instead of 2, but my Dr reluctantly says that after my next beta on Sat. if they're not significantly higher, to stop the prog. suppos. and let it go, but I don't feel I can. I've had no spotting, only occasional cramps and twinges. And unfortunately, bbs stopped being sore 1 1/2 wks ago. On this board, I'm seeing that many girls are going for betas 4,5 or 6 times in order to determine what's happening. Has anyone got any info tHAT MIGHT HELP? Phyllis - thanks for your advice and you're in my prayers. & thanks all for the great info I've already picked up on this site! Hopeful09
