Beta - slow and low : (
Hello! i'm new here! me and dh have been ttc for a long time now ( i have severe endo, one ovary, mild pcos and we have male factor!) ugh! we were ready to move to IVF, and did one more IUI with injectables and shockingly got a BFP!
I had my first beta 13dpiui it was 36, second one 17dpiui its 85.... i go for another tomorrow, but won't find out until thursday the results! Has ANYONE heard or been in a simliar situation, if so what was the verdict? ectopic? blighted ovum and of course anyone have a successful pregnancy with these types of numbers? we are just devestated and the wait is horrible! Thanks for any and all advice!oh yea, i took another hpt yesterday (17dpiui) and it was only as dark as the one three days ago and my sore bb's and gone away.. well this morning, sore bb's are defintely back and another hpt was a lot darker! so confused!

I've definitely heard success stories with numbers that started out slow. As far as the HPT lines go, the darkness of the line can have a lot to do with how much dye is in the test. Different tests from the same box can have different amounts of dye and thus give different color lines. Your numbers are going up so I think there is hope.
Symptoms this early come and go quite a bit. So if you wake up tomorrow and your bb's aren't sore anymore, don't panic! I wish you the very best! Please keep us updated!

hang in there bny. i think the important thing is that your numbers are doubling. As for the symptoms thing, you'll drive yourself crazy checking (i should know because i've been doing that!)
Sorry you have to wait a whole day for your results though - that's tough. Hang in there and believe that it'll be alright. Keep us posted. |

bny, i am in this exact situation.
my first beta was 37 and my second was 51. everyone was concerned. my next beta was 4 days later and it was over 300. there was still some concern it could be ectopic, but the numbers continued to rise significantly from there and an u/s revealed the sac was in the uterus. last week i saw the heartbeat and i'm now over 7 weeks pregnant. so far so good! hang in there. so far i'm one of those success stores that started low and slow. i'm hoping for the same outcome for you!
