Canadian Beta differnt from American?

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if Beta numbers are different in Canada and the US? I know the estradiol and other levels are tested differently.

I live in Toronto and my Betas look kinda like the ones here so I don't know if they are different or not but they look the same. Sorry I don't have the answer.

My Betas were:

05/18 96
05/20 184

I don't know how far I am but I think I'm 5 weeks this week

Hi,
I had a beta at 18dpiui and it was 1063. Any thoughts about what that indicate would be great!

That number looks really good. I don't think there is a difference. Everyone's betas are different. What really matters is if the are rising appropriately. Do u have another scheduled?

nope I don't have anthoer one. My u/s is on june 18.
I am worried about a molar pregnancy because it's so high.
I don't think it's twins because our follicles were 20 and 15 and I don't think the 15 would be big enough.

My two year old was conceived with a 15mm follicle and my six month old was conceived with a 16mm!

I wouldn't worry too much about it, It looks fine to me. I had a beta done somewhere around 17-19 dp and it was 2158. You will feel better once you have your u/s.
