Can betas rise too fast?

My betas are:

Beta #1 9dp5dt 16
Beta #2 13dp5dt 156 doubling time 29 hours
Beta #3 15dp5dt 425 doubling time 33 hours

I read somewhere that ectopics can double too fast. Is this true? What else could be going on? I went from low of all lows of a beta to doubling fast. The worry never ends...

The doubling time of my first two betas was 28 hours. The betas were:

10dpIUI - 21
13dpIUI - 126

I have a healthy little girl.

I think your numbers are rising just beautifully!

I don't think there is a thing as betas rising too fast. A lot of times, if the numbers are really high early on, it could mean multiples. I see from your sig. that you've had multiples previously. How many embies did u transfer this time?

I transfered two, however my triplets were from two embryos implanting. Our boys were identical twins and our daughter a fraternal triplet.

Betas can rise too quickly sometimes indicating a molar pregnancy...although your timing looks good! Congrats on a positive BETA!

Ectopics can also double too slowly; I think it's molar pregnancies which double fast.

Your beta levels are not doubling too fast. They're perfectly within the normal range. People on these boards tend to say that betas normal double in 2 to 3 days - I guess that's to encourage those of us who have slow doubling times. In fact, that is the slow end of the range. Doubling of around 30 hours is well within the normal range.
