Doubling time

Is this a good doubling time? I don't know how far I am but these are my betas:

05/18 at around 11am 96
05/20 at around 2pm 184

How do you calulate the doubling time?

Thanks in advance!!

Lasbi

You nearly doubled in just over 24 hours. That is excellent! Anytime under 72 hours is considered normal.

Did you mean 48hs? I know but some places say they should double every 48hs. How true it is that up to 72hrs is fine? I really hope so, I woke up a bit down today. I hate the first trimester!! I wish I could enjoy it more!

Thanks a lot for your reply!!

Oops! I did mean 48 hours. Up to 72 hours is perfectly normal. The first trimester is the worst, until you get to the third trimester. However, there is significantly less worrying in the third trimester, but you just want someone to take the baby out, NOW!!!
Your numbers really do look good. Try to not worry too much. Any idea on when you will get an ultrasound? That always calms people down, for a while.

Betas should double within 48-72 hrs. So you are good there. If you go to www.betabase.info then you can enter your beta info and get the doubling times. I think your times are around 51 hrs.

Thanks a lot!! You really made me feel better!

I don't know when I'll get the u/s yet. The thing is I conceived my DD#1 after 2 years and 4 IUI and I am still breastfeeding her. I never got my period back (she's 15 mo now) This is a truly miracle PGy, I wasn't expecting this, I wished it but never thought it would happened to me, I feel blessed.

So, no one knows how far along I am. I think I O between May 3rd and 5th but it could have been later so I really don't know. My family Dr said it's too early and that I should wait a couple of weeks and then he'll give me the referal to see an OB.

I know what you mean, after the U/S, if I see a heartbeat I'll feel much better. Hopefully it will be soon,

Thanks again Superanxious (I love that nickname hahaha very appropriate)

Good luck!!

Thanks a lot for the link! For some reason it doesn't work in my computer but I think my doubling time is about 54 hs, that's why I thought it wasn't too good.

you're not adding a .com to the end of it are you?

We are so similar this pg. I don't know when I O'd either. Have to wait until u/s to see. Then I'll have a better estimate.

No, I'm just pressing on the link and I get to the calculator but it won't calculate anything, even on the other link they have.

I think I read something about you in another thread, were you on a rest cycle and that's why you don't know when you Oed?

When is your U/S?
