Question High beta 15 dpo... twins?

Hi ladies.
I had an early beta done (25 at 10 dpo), then a second to be sure things were moving along. I got a whopping 553 at 15 dpo. Doesn't that seem very high? Could I be having twins? No twins in the family, but I've been sooo tired and had morning sickness like I never had when i was preggers with my daughter.
What do you think? I won't have an u/s for another 3/4 weeks. (I'm 6 1/2 weeks right now)

That is pretty high for 15dp. Unfortunately we can't tell a ton by numbers. It could be more than one or it could be a very healthy singleton. Definitely update after your u/s. Will you be doing another beta?

Nope, no more betas.
I have a general prenatal appointment June 3rd. Would it be possible to hear 2 different hearbeats? If not, I'll just have to wait for u/s mid-June.

Usually, this early the only time you will get to hear a heart beat is with a transvaginal u/s. You can't always detect it this early with a regular doppler. Is this your first pregnancy?

NopeI've been preggers before. My daughter is almost 1 year old. For my first appointment I'll be 8 1/2 weeks, and hope she'll try the doppler for the heartbeat because she usually doesn't schedule the first u/s until 10-12 weeks.

Well, this is my 4th pregnancy, but I only have 1 ds from my first pregnancy. I say that because I did hear that if you have been pregnant before, it is possible to detect hb sooner in subsequent pregnancies. I would definitely ask her to try. I will try to find more info about this to make sure it's true or if I was just dreamin. I'll let you know what I find out.

Some places say as early as 8 wks other say starting around 10 wks. This is with a fetal doppler like they use in the Dr. office. I actually have one that I bought with my 1st pregnancy from babybeat.com

It says it can detect as early as 8 wks, but that depends on the bodytype and where the placenta is located.
