What difference do the numbers make?

Hi, I was just wondering about something. I'vennow found out that I'm further along than I expected and so therefore my numbers are WAY low for how far along I was when I got my betas. With my last dd they were so high the doc feared a tubal. I had a number of over 8,000 at only 20-23 dpo. Now my doubling tihs time is perfect, so I know that's a really good sign. But what difference does make how high the number is? Does that show how strong the pregnancy is, or what? I was about 4 1/2 weeks along (still no definite edd, haven't had my u/s yet) when I got my numbers of 51.7 and 105, 48 hours later. These are VERY low compared with others who are due the same month. So what's the signifigance?

I don't think there is any signifigance because implantation can take place later so you really cannot compare.

no...don't worry about it if they are indeed doubling!

Have you checked w w w . betabase. info? The ranges for what is "normal" are enormous! I agree that as long as they are doubling, there shouldn't be cause for concern.
