Smile Do you think Multiples?

Hi-ya Gals -

I did an FET on 7/2/07

First beta was 9dp5dt = 422

Second beta was 11dp5dt = 890

The numbers seems high to me. We only transf. two blasts. Twins would be awesome!

Thanks for your input!

Toodles,

She

At 12dpo or 7dp5dt I had a beta of 200. I believe those were the right dates LOL. My brain doesn't work anymore, anyways. I'm 21 weeks pregnant with twins.

They say it is not the number, but the doubling time - the faster the doubling - the better chance of multiples. Shew, I went to www.betabase.info to the beta calculator your doubling time was every 44 hours. Poorbear listed she had twins, however her doubling time was every 36 hours...they are close though...so who knows - keep us posted!

Hi ladies!!! New to post!! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. First beta was 13 days post 3 day transfer (ivf). It was 385. Second Beta was 15 days post 3 day transfer and was 767. We transferred 3 embies. Do you think it could be twins. My first US isn't until aug. 7.

I am 7w4d with twins, and my betas were:

10dp3dt: 118
12dp3dt: 343
14dp3dt: 996

I think it is more the doubling or tripling of numbers.....a dr. on the SIRM site said tripling betas usually mean twins, and quadrupling betas usually mean triplets...doubling betas usually mean singleton....but it is NOT an exact science one bit, and there are always deviations...it is so hard to wait, I KNOW!!! Good Luck!!

Lisa

Lisa you are right about doubling and tripling. My beta went from 60 to 24,000. When I left a message for dh that my beta was 24,000 he was afraid to call me back LOL.
