decimals?
I am new to this. Just wondering if anyone has had the Dr. tell them that their beta was a decimal? I'd like to think that maybe the betas are like blood alcohol levels (.08 is read as an 80). The nurse was happy and told me that I am definitely pregnant. When I asked her what my number was, she said that it was 49.05 and that's what the Dr asks her to look for. (He comes back from vacation tomorrow morning.) I think that might be better earlier on, but my LMP was May 24th. I think that's too low but that if it could be 495, I'd be much happier. Just trying to hold on to some shred of hope. boobs still sore, no cramping or bleeding. (early m/c at the end of march 07) I'd be glad to get anyone's opinion. Thanks so much. Lorry

How long are your cycles normally? Do you know when you O'd. 49 sounds like a reasonable number if you are just around the end of the 2ww past O time. A second beta and a doubling rate of 48-72 hours will tell you more.
Good luck.
