My first BETA and progesterone results..is this too high?

at 11 dpo my HCG was 60 (normal from what I've read thus far), but my progesterone was 85.5! At 5 dpo it was 35. Surely this is a good sign that this one will stick, but are there any bads to having such a high level? The only thing I found online said the normal range is 9-47.....Thanks for any input.......

First off, congrats to you! Are you on progresterone supplements? Of course that would make your # high. If not, I don't think it is a problem, I believe it is a good thing that it is so high on your own. My levels were at 89 14dpiui and 96 16dpiui, but I am on 800mg/daily of progesterone supplements.

Keep us posted!

I want to add to this. My beta was 100 at 12 dpo but my progesterone was 225. Is there any harm with a number that high (p4)?

At 13dpo my progestrone was almost 100 and my beta was 200. I'm 20 weeks pregnant with twins, so I would say no it's not a bad thing.

BETA- Is your HCG level to determine pregnancy. You have bloodwork to determine your beta number.
BFN- Big Fat Negative

If you go to Acronyms on the right upper corner of the site it will help you alot with the abbreviations. I know it did myself when I was new to the site!

You can't "overdose" on progesterone. If it's high, it's high. The point is for it to be above about 15 so you can maintain a pregnancy. If it is- you're good to go! Good luck and nice numbers!!!!
