HCG quadrupling/2 sacs but 1 empty
Hey everyone. Here is my situation
Natural conception.....was going to start injectables/IUIs next cycle (had used them before and had boy/girl twins who are now 4) 13dpo: + hpt 15dpo: hcg 58 18dpo: hcg 316 20dpo: hcg 1156 23dpo: hcg 4316; p4 18 I'm on progesterone supp's 50 mg 2xdaily I have been spotting since 15dpo (brown, no cramping and really on on the tp when I wipe) Had u/s today (vaginal) and am 5w6d....They immediately saw two sacs. First sac had fetal pole and we even saw hearbeat....2nd sac saw absolutely nothing. RE says it's still too early to know anything. My lining looked very thick and there seemed to be no other source of bleeding/spotting anywhere. I go back next Fri (10 days) to see what comes of the 2nd sac. Do you all have any experience in this. I'm thinking the 2nd is a blighted ovum since I've been spotting so long and the sac is empty. My #s were near to quadrupling also. Thanks in advance for any input. Lynn Kyle & Kailyn 12-18-02

I don't know if this helps, but my RE wouldn't even do an u/s until 7 weeks, because he said it might be too early to see anything. Best of luck on your next u/s! Congratulations!!!
