Must be further along..

I have been on birth control since the birth of my last son, 4 1/2 years ago. My period was due on 11/24, last period was 10/27 (it was a little light). I had a BFP 11/26.. Because of the birth control and a little spotting on Sunday I asked my Dr to do a couple serial HCGs.

11/27: 16067.0 If I am doing the math right and my 10/27 period was real I should only be 17dpo. Assuming this is not a molar pregnancy (and there wasn't a lab error, I almost have to be more than 17dpo, right?

Maybe your period on 10/27 wasn't really a period? I'd say that you are further along. Can your doctor do an u/s and measure the sac?

Thanks for the reassurance. This obviously wasn't planned, but I still can't help but worry. I had my 2nd beta drawn this am. I should have my results back late this pm or in the am. I don't have an appt with my OB until later in Dec (these were drawn by my PCP) but if things seem off I will be calling them tommorrow to see if I can get in sooner. I can't help but worry about possibly taking BCP for over a month while I was pg.
