bad news

I had to go to ER today by dr request because of side pain, third beta=46
1st-29
2nd-34
3rd-46

Go to doctor tomorrow for "options" on bed rest until then, thinking blighted ovum rather than ectopic. Do you guys think d&c or natural m/c? I don't know. My side is still REALLY hurting. My heart goes out to you all going through this...keep praying!

I don't have much advice to offer... but I wanted to say how sorry I am that you are going through this. I know how horrible the low beta game is as I have been having the same issue myself. Be recent beta #'s were:

1st 20
2nd 74.5
3rd 99

After the 99, they told me that this is basically over (that was on Mon.) Now I go in tomorrow morn. for more b/w to see if the #s go down on their own. Unless there is some crazy miracle, I hope they go down and that I don't end up with an ectopic.

It sounds like we'll both find out more tomorrow. I am saying a prayer for you and just wanted to let you know how much I understand what you're going through! Big hugs!

Any news Julliam? They had me do another beta one day after the last and it is only up 5 to 51, but I am still going for more. They want to wait this out some more. I was thinking of you today. best luck.

brutus....My number went way down to 39 from 99. So I am just waiting for a m/c at this point. As sad as I am, at least it looks like it is resolving in its own and won't turn into an ectopic. Plus this is the first time I've gotten a bfp in a year of trying... so that's at least some progress. I hope it means that my body is planning to be more cooperative!

I'm so glad that your numbers are continuing to go up! I plan to keep checking on you -- so keep me posted! you are in my prayers!

Thank you so much, it's still great that you were able to fertilize an egg! that's what me and my hubby are trying to be happy about, this is farther than we have ever gotten so lets go with the *glass half full* approach. Anyways, you are in my prayers too and don't for get to have fun trying next time!!

had me do another beta just one day after my whopping jump to 46! Beta = 51, next to be drawn Sat. afternoon. Side still hurts, trying to have what little hope my OB has for me!
