Will I see a heartbeat - 6w3d?

I was hoping for some opinions. I have had my first BFP (still in so much shock after 4 IVF BFNs in a row) and I have my first scan tomorrow morning. My levels were 7619 last Tuesday and went up to 26000 on Saturday (when I was 6 weeks exactly). Tomorrow will be 6w3d, will this be too early to see a hb? All this is so worrying, I just cant get it out of my head that this wont go wrong.

Lots of love
Emma

you should but plenty of woman dont, go back in two days and see it. Lots of docs dont schedule the HB US till 7 weeks for this reason- and yes a whole lot can happen in a few days. With those HCG numbers I bet you see it.

I hope your u/s goes well. When I went in at 6w2d we found 3 babies and 3 heartbeats at 104, 110, 1nd 114 which are all fine for that early on. I am 7w2d and can't wait to see another ultrasound to see if they are doing alright.

Take a deep breath..I know exactly how you are feeling. I am almost 22w pregnant and I still stay the first u/s was the most nerve wracking. I should really say waiting on it was the nervous part. I saw my babys hb at 6w4d and with your numbers I say you definetely see it. I kept thinking that a baby would not be in there and being so scared but all went well. Try to relax a little and then when you see the hb you can stress about the next thing. LOL. HUGS.

Thank you for your replies.

WOW Kimberly THREE babies!!!! Congratulations, how are you feeling? How many embryos did you transfer?

I did get to see my h/b today so I am over the moon. The clinic have given me a 90% chance of success which is as good as it gets for this early stage.

Lots of love

Don't worry yourself. Most women see something after the age of 6 wks, BUT if you don't live by my experience. I went at 5wks6dys and just a sac and maybe as the u/s tech said a fetal pole. I went back 3 days later and a .

Those little suckers grow fast so you could be on the day that there is nothing, then the next day BAM! Never give up, every woman develops so differently! We are unique and you can never tell what you are going to see when

CONGRATULATIONS!

I have to say thank you for posting this question. I am going for U/S on Tuesday and it will be the exact 6wk mark. I am very nervous that I will not see that heartbeat. I really need to know that this pregnancy is going to continue. Right now, I am trying to take it one day at a time.

I had my first US at 6w1d and saw 2 heartbeats !!

Have since been back at 8w1d and the same again. (yes - officially twins)

I think the 2 week wait between the first Beta and the 1st US was actually worse than the initial 2WW for beta !

Hang in there - it is awesome to see the HB !

Now looking forward to hearing them for the first time !!
