Wacky betas

Hi everyone. This is my first BFP and I am still pessimistic about this. Here are my betas:

9/20/06: 69
9/22/06: 136
9/25/06: 143 (what the heck?)

Please give me some wacky beta stories. We transferred 1 expanded blastocyst and RE is trying to give me hope that it might have split and is a vanishing twin...just not believing it. Any advice?

jds - hang in there. It's not over till it's over. There is still hope that it will turn out to be a viable pregnancy. Are you having your next beta tomorrow? How many dpo are you?

Thanks for some encouragement. I actually had another beta today so here are my numbers again:

9/20 - beta1: 69
9/22 - beta2: 136
9/25 - beta3: 143 (this was the bummer one)
9/27 - beta4: 223

I have no idea what is going on. It stinks being in limbo. I don't think I am going in for another beta until Monday, Oct 2 where they'll also do my ultrasound at that time.

My transfer was September 10th so I guess I would be 17dp5dt?

Good luck tomorrow! I know what you are dealing with - check out my beta's below. It is so much harder being in limbo with things. I was sure mine was a non viable pregnancy and even cried right before my US with dh, but sure enough there was a HB and I am in my 5th month right now. GL and post when you can! I'll be praying for you. I have an US tomorrow too - my 20week one!

Thanks guys so much for your stories, your encouragement, your prayers. I know it's not over until it's over. I am getting ready to go in in a few hours for bloodwork and then I go back at 1:15 this afternoon for the u/s. They wanted my beta number prior to the u/s. I'll post as soon as I can. Thanks again for helping me through beta #ell...I hope this truly is a miracle baby.

I just got back from my u/s and they saw a yolk sac but nothing in it. The tech measured it at being 4 weeks 6 days and according to my retrieval/transfer, I should be 5 weeks 6 days. I have no idea what to think. RE was not at all optimistic. Said that we should have seen something today knowing that my retrieval was on September 5. But remember, I am the one that has the wacky betas. Just last Wednesday it was 223 and today it was 1118. What is going on? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

Oh Bless your poor heart! I have been told they can not see anything til the beta is over 1500. Please don't worry yet about it. I was 5wks 1 day and had an u/s and there was just a sac, and the tech gave me this speech. I came back 3 days later and there was that yolk, then 3 days later the

Give it some time! I will say a little prayer for you tonight! Along with one for me!
