3rd Beta didn't double - WDYT?

My hopes are starting to fall. Please let me know what this usually means. Be honest!!!!!

1st beta : 301 10dp5dt
2nd beta: 602 13dp5dt
3rd beta: 921 16dp5dt

These were taking exactly 3 days apart each time. We are concerned and I don't know what usually happens next. Our RE wants another beta in 3 days. Whould it still rise even if it isn't a viable pregnany? or would it start to drop?

beta numbers

Have you had an ultrasound? My RE follows my weekly US more than my beta. Unless you have started bleeding there is still hope. Sure, you want the numbers to double, but they are still rising, so don't give up yet!

If it's not a viable pregnancy, the numbers would most likely start to drop.

Thanks so much. The RE is going to do an ultrasound too with the beta. I hope we will be able to tell more then.

Hey JROC

My clinic says that would still deem a pregnancy viable even if their was only a 40% increase in beta, doubling is great but they dont expect everyone to!

Best Wishes

Hi!

I just wanted to update everyone here. It seems like sometimes we post about our beta woos and then never share what happened. I am guilty of that myself. We went into the ultrasound Friday and found a perfect little sac, measuring exactly what it should be. And the RE thought he saw the yolk sac forming, which was very promising. The beta later came back at 2060. We were elated to say the least. We have an appt. again this Friday to see that the sac is growing, if there is a yolk sac, and maybe we'll see a heartbeat? We'll be 6 weeks and 2 days at that point.

1st beta : 301 10dp5dt
2nd beta: 602 13dp5dt
3rd beta: 921 16dp5dt
4th beta: 2060 18dp5dt

Yeah jroc!!!! Happy to hear that the U/S relieved a sac... Don't get discouraged if you don't see a H/B on Friday still might be a tad early.....
