Beta question
I got my first +HPT on Monday @ 13dpo. Yesterday I had my first beta drawn and the level was at 5.22. My test I took today is a bit darker than Monday's, so I'm pretty sure it's going up, but am still a bit worried. I will be having my 2nd beta drawn tomorrow, and will get the result Friday morning.
Anyone have experiences with this low of a beta and stay pregnant??? Thanks. Adrienne

Odd that a pg test would pick up on such a low beta. Usually anything under 10 is not even considered pregnant. Are you sure it wasnt 52.2 and not 5.22? If 52 then yes its just early 13DPO is still early to do beta's. I hope this is your bfp!!

I had 2 positives, and the nurse even double checked that it was 5.22. I thought it was weird that I'd have a line even on Answer. Then again, on one of my previous pregnancies my 14dpo beta was only 17 (and I later found out it was quads -- wound up miscarrying at 11weeks).
I've looked on betabase, and the lowest reported was 3. That gives me a bit of hope, but I'd still like to know someone who's had it happen. Here's a pic from my 2 tests. The line is starting to get darker at least. |
