beta and p4 numbers - help please

I've tried to read as much as I can about the betas and I want your honest opinion.

1st beta : 301
2nd beta: 602

These were taking exactly 3 days apart and they doubled (so 72 hour doubling time). I know the range is always 48-72 hours. Do you think being at the very end of the range is anything to be concerned about?

Also, what should p4 be? I am seeing people with high nubers like 88. Mine was only 21. What does that mean?

Thanks!

When was your beta taken? How many days into your cycle. As long as you double withing 72 hours you are fine. Are you taking a progesterone supplement?

Hi! Thanks for the help! The beta was taken 10pt5dt....I hope I wrote that right. 10 days past a 5 day transfer. Then the next beta at 13dp5dt. And yes, I am taking suppliments for p4. Should the p4 be higher? What does a real high p4 indicate, as I've seen some others post higher than that?

Everyone is different, your doctor would up your supplement if he was concerned. I think they like it to be 20 or over. Your betas seem fine. Try not to fixate and compare your numbers. Your best bet now is to wait for your u/s.

Good Luck and Congrats!

Hi. Congrats on your pregnancy!!! My first 3 betas did not even double in the 72 hour range..it was more like 82 hours i think and you see my signature. I had my first and second beta 3 days apart and they did not double. Each person is different and your numbers are just fine. The true test is that u/s!
