Low Betas, help!

My first beta 15dpo was only 55, and then 4 days later it is 100 on 19dpo. The betas are to low! Is there any chance for a normal pregnancy?

Hi Sunflower1, I am wondering the same thing! I am unsure of my dpo, I'll guess 13-15dpo, beta #1 was 50. Tomorrow is beta #2.

You are in beta limbo to be sure, I think it could go either way. It is worrisome that it did not double within 3 days, but beta #3 will tell all. Some beta stories on this forum are surprising and it makes you realize that !!!anything can happen!!!!

When is your next beta? I hope you get good news soon.

It is supposed to double every 2-3 days not just 2 days. So, you could well be in that range. I think your numbers look good actually and you have reason to be very hopeful.

Me:
4-24-06 2 pm beta 1: 50 progesterone: 30
4-26 9 am beta 2: 132 progesterone: 54.19 (1.5 days later)

hopeful.

Just curious, why a 2dt? I have not heard of that?

Sunflower1, do you have another beta today? If so, I hope so. Look at Cammy's thread if you want encouragement. Staring betas do odd things.

All the best,
Paz

Sunflower, Congrats!!!!

I htink we are living parallel beta lives: 50-132-332. I go tomorrow for more bw and sono.

Are you having any symptoms? Mine come and go and when they are gone it is hard.

Glad to hear your good news. That's wonderful! Makes me hopeful too.

Hi Sunflower,

Yesterday I had no symptoms at all and it freaked me out, but today I feel a little bit of nauseau and some abdominal pressure -- and today we saw a blob!

I looked online to see what a sonogram should look like at 5 weeks but this looked nothing like that. I expected a black circle, maybe with a yolk sac in it. But all we saw was a solid blob. It was just too early. Doc says it is normal, just early. We guess I am just 5 weeks today? still not sure.

4th beta today.

how about you? What is next?

Paz
