Low Betas - please help me

I am feeling VERY upset.
At 12dpo my beta was 12 and at 16dpo it was 38. Anyone have success or hear of success with low betas and slow doubling (57 hours )
What do you think HONESTLY of these numbers?
Too low ? Too slow to double ? Thanks for your help. This is a natural cycle but I'm sure of the days as we only "bd" one day during the cycle.

They are a bit low, but give them a chance. My first on 14dpo was 30, He is now two. My friend was also a slow riser, she saw a sac and beginning of a yolk today at 5w.

+++++++++ thoughts!

My first beta was done 3 days after my af was missed, I'm not exactly sure how many dpo I was at the time because I think I o'd late in that cycle. My betas were 29, and the blood test showed me to be between 4 1/2 to 5 weeks...I was really worried with the results being so low, so I talked to my OB, and she said that as long as it was above 25 everything looked good. She refused to take anymore betas unless there seemed to be a problem (bleeding, bad cramping, etc)...so I had no rising numbers to compair to. Well, I am now 10 weeks, and 2 weeks ago I got my first ultrasound and everything looks great!! Strong healthy heartbeat and everything. Some people are just slow at getting those numbers up quickly in the beginning, but low beta numbers do not always mean bad news. Hang in there and keep your chin up, everything may be just fine!! I wish you the best of luck!

Mt beta was low at first....

Hi,

Well my first beta was 30 and the 2nd one 74 and the third one 134, those were two days apart. The fourth one was four days and I came to 600 something I don't quite remember the exact number but the nurse told me that there is nothing to worry about it because it was more than double.

I still have to go for a ultrasound or I thinks a sonogram to hear the heart bit and to see if everything fine and in the right place.

So I think it's very true that beta can go up even if it's low.

Congratulations to the moms to be.
Good luck to the ones trying moms to be.
