Has anyone had this happen???

Okay, heres the situation. Should be 6 wks preggo but they think I ovulated later than I thought-- They really aren't sure.

My levels have been as follows:

126
199
254
311

The 199 to 254 was over a period of 4 days-- ouch!

They did an ultrasound to try and see if they could see any distention in my tubes and all they saw was a thickened uterine lining.

Progesterone has been around 13-17

She said unless my numbers jump drastically soon, shes very suspcious of an ectopic pregnancy.. ectopic pregnancies tend to make levels rise slowly??

Has anyone here had an ectopic with the same sort of rising numbers or has anyone had a sucessful pregnancy with numbers like this?? It's just driving me crazy not knowing what to make of the numbers..

Thanks

Hi- Unfortunately I have to agree with the nurse on this one. I hope that I'm wrong but I'm sorry to say that it really doesn't look like a viable pregnancy at this point. You don't specify days between each beta other than the one so I assume it may be each day? The embryo may be in utero but may have become detached this is what happened to me on my 1st pg 7 years ago.

Hugs and please keep us posted. I pray there could be a lab error but I don't want to give you false hope.

Ectopic or if they have not determined a sak it could just be a chemical pg. Your numbers havent reached over 1k yet, so it could be that as well. I hope it turns to be a more positive outcome for you though>

Sorry I didn't specify how many days in between.. 2 days between them except the one that went 199 to 254.
