I don't know what to think

Okay ladies heres my situation and I'm in need of some quick answers to ease my anxiety.

Last August I was pregnant for the first time and also had my first loss, at 11 weeks.

Well yesterday I had 2 positive pregnancy tests and was soo excited. I should be almost 6 weeks along. My LMP was Feb. 10th. I called my doctors office and they scheduled a beta for today. I went before work and then I called them on my break to find out the results.

The number was 145. Since I'm new to all of this, I wasn't quite sure what to think of it. I could tell by the sound in the nurses voice she wasn't too confident about it..She said maybe I ovulated later than I thought.

I go for a repeat beta on Thursday, 3/23.. hoping for some progress.

I just didn't know what my number should be at this point and I was hoping for some answers.. please get back to me soon... thanks ladies.

My numbers were a lot lower than yours and my DR told me not to worry. My last LMP was 1/30 and they are saying the samething, I must have ovulated late. I did my betas last week which would have put me at 6 weeks..... Don't stress, you need to relax!!! By the way, Congratulations!!!!

My numbers were low at first too (174). Dr told me I probably lost it. Then to my surprise 1 week later they went up to 3836. I had an u/s yesterday at 6wks 1day and got to see and hear a heartbeat . I 've had 5 m/c and 1 stillborn, I never gave up. I found out that I had all the m/c because of blood clotting disorder, I'm on meds and should be able to carry just fine now.
Try not to worry too much until you get second #'s. I know it's hard.

i don't have info you need, just wanted to wish you luck! and you could ovulate late if your period is irregular...

Anyway, best wishes!!! and hope to hear excellent doublling numbers and strong h/b!!!!!

Ashlee, I agree that it's too soon to worry. You can look at www.betabase.info to see that there are other viable pg that started out like yours! For my first pg my betas were also very low and my dd is 2 1/2 now! It could have been a late implanter, too. It's almost time for your beta -- hang in there and be sure to let us know how it goes.

Girls keep in mind the first beta is confirmation of pregnancy and shouldnt be used for viability of the fetus . The ranges of betas go from one end of the spectrum to the other. What the number does going forward doubling (48-72 hours) or not will determine more where things are going.

Ashlee I understand the worry, God do I. I had a loss last Aug too But Im pg again and 25 weeks. So keep your chin up.

BC-Momma~~ Thanks for the reassurance. My Dr. told me as well it was nothign to worry about . I felt a bit at ease at that point but will feel more at ease once I havemy U/S......

Hey ladies..

Thanks so much for your result and caring words, its helped tremendously to know that I am not alone! I guess I was wrong when I said it was 145 the other day, it was only 126. Yesterday the results were 199..

im frustrated.. first of all they never called me with the results and then now I had to wait, again, because she has to find a doctor to discuss it with b/c the midwives aren't there today and neither is the doctor I saw with my last miscarriage.

Keep me in your prayers if you pray.. I've got a bad feeling about this

The nurse called me back & she had talked to one of the doctors and the doctor said for me to have a repeat beta on Monday and then hopefully it'll be high enough to see my little bean.. she was still hopeful that this will still work out since my number went up at least 60 %..

I hate this waiting game
