prog/E2 levels? I didnt ask.....

what would be the reason to know your prog and or E2 levels?

I didnt ask I assume they are for the RE to know if you need to adjust them. But if I asked tomorrow what they are would it tell me somthing???

I always ask for both my progesterone and estrogen numbers, just to keep them for my records. I'm not sure what my E2 levels should be, but I do now your P4 levels should be above 20 - or even above 30 is better.

If you levels were not where your RE wanted them to be, they would have told you and changed your meds accordingly.

The progesterone levels are critical to maintain the pregnancy until the placenta kick in around 10w to 12w.

Hugs,

Sirell

Hey thank you for your response. So I asked yesterday what my level was out of curiousity. And they told me they dont do that test.

She said if I have spotting to let them know and they will check it then.

It is critical to test for E2 and P4 esp in cases of ivf. My RE wants to keep E2 level > 1000 and P4 >100. (E2 to build the uterus lining up and P4 to maintain the lining and prevent from shedding)
