Really worried

I'm 4.5 weeks pregnant and really worried. For the last few days I have had sore bbs but today they just feel normal. I'm petrified it is all over as for most of yesterday I had lots of aching in my uterus. I just don't know what to do.

Sam

Sam-
I don't know any of the details of your pregnancy (Nat vs AR conception, how far along, beta levels to date, etc.) but I have to say that I had the same type of loss of symptoms in my last pregnancy (an IVF pregnancy which just ended 3 weeks ago with the birth of 2 healthy girls). One morning I would wake up and no soreness in my chest, sometimes I would feel crampy like AF was coming, sometimes I felt nauseated, EVERYTHING just seemed to come and go until I reached about the 7 week mark. (It was originally a triplet pregnancy, so even though hormone levels were really high, my symptoms still came and went.)

So, I hope that you are having the same experience that I did AND that you don't become a compulsive HPT-er, which I did. I swear I took an HPT everyday until I saw the heartbeats, and then would obsess over whether the line was as dark as the day before!!! Good luck with the pregnancy and staying sane until you get out of that awful first few weeks! Isabella

Thanks Isabella, that really was reassuring. This is a surprise natural pregnancy (after 5 failed IVFs) so I guess I may just be extra nervous. And yes I did do an HPT today which didn't really tell me anything.

Sam -
Symptoms with pg will come and go and some days you will wake up and feel great and others you wont. Enjoy the days you feel good Congrats on your pg. The aching uterus is stretching and growth!

I understand your fear...I lost my first pregnancy about 6 months ago, and I have obsessed over everything with this one! Thankfully, I am now 12 weeks and so far so good! I have had cramping since I tested positive, and my doc has reassured me that it's normal. I'm sure you will be fine, try to stay calm for you and your little bean!

Here is a good prayer my mom wrote down for me when I felt uncertain..."Lord, you are the miracle worker and I'm going to surrender all my doubts and fears to you. I entrust this entire situation, my whole life into your care. I know you won't allow me to fall. In fact, you already know what you're going to do about this situation, and I trust in your love and power."

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!
