betas rising but very slow need advice
hi everyone! hoping someone might have a similar story with a good outcome! hpt negative on jan 27th. period started jan 29th and lasted for 3 days. spotting started feb 8th. another hpt positive on feb 10th.
hcg levels 2/13 655 2/15 783 2/16 823 still spotting but only very lightly. breasts very tender and no cramping. dr. very discouraging. also had a transvaginal us on 2/13 and the us tech said she thought she saw the beginnings of gestational sac and that uterine lining was thickening. any advice? any hope? i'm really scared. new hcg from today 2/17 896 dr wants me to start drug to eliminate...but im holding out for another us and new hcg on monday. i would appreciate lots of prayers from everyone!

Kristy,
I'm afraid I can't offer much more than my prayers, and I will keep you in them. Good luck and God Bless You.

Christy -
im so sorry you are having to go through this. Usually when you have a slow increase that is consistent usually it means the fetus isnt thriving. Your beta number indicates progression of the pregnancy, fetus and womb as it is developing. If those numbers start to slow down rapidly or decline usually it indicates fetal demise. NOW I know that wasnt the happiest answer and Im sorry for that. On another note your beta is still moving upward and not decreasing. So that is a + and I agree with doing another beta and seeing where you are. If it still hasnt moved much or doubling I would request a sono - see what is going on in there. Make sure ectopic and find out what is what. I would need that for my own mental state before opting to terminate pregnancy. I hope and pray for a big number for you tomorrow and some positive news!!
