Hope for beta of "19" at 12dp3dt?

Anyone have a beta this low and have it double appropriately? I have to go back on Monday for a retest. They're looking for at least 80 then. Is there any hope?

Thanks,
LaTanya

I had a beta of 24 at 12 DPO. It went to 54 at 14 DPO, I'm now 33 weeks. The first number doesn't matter as much as the second. Good luck!!

LaTanya,

Don't be discouraged!!! My betas were 17 at 11dp3dt, 33 at 13dp...they slowly rose from there, but always doubled! The initial starting numbers really don't matter as much as the doubling times...we just had a late implanter! I am now almost 16 weeks and doing just fine...

Hang in there...beta hell is awful...

Michelle

My first beta was at 8 dpt and it was less than 5. My second was at 10 dpt and it was 5. They requested I do a third, but had already convinced myself it was going to be a BFN or Chemical (cryed and cryed and cryed as they were our last 4 little embies).

When the nurse called me after taking the third test on 12dpt, (mind you I was geared for the worse), she anounced that I had gone up to an 18. I just started bawling. Now I am waiting and waiting to take the fourth at 22dpt (I still have over a week to go). I want to take another tomorrow. I was even tempted to buy an evil hpt, but didn't. My doctor is not concerned, says that I had a late implanter. So I am keeping the faith thanks to all of the encouragement from this board.

I had a beta of 16 at 15dpiui. Three days later it was up to 87, then 256, then 1000-something. My dd is now 2 1/2 years old. After the first beta the nurse said my numbers were "borderline" which was very distressing - how can you be "borderline" pg?? But it all worked out just fine in the end. I also had an ectopic pg over a year ago and my numbers never doubled. Going from a 5 to 18 in just 2 days sounds like good growth to me! Good luck and keep us posted.

jennl-thanks for the encouragement. It certainly helps to hear the positive results from similar beginnings. And I was told that my 2nd test was borderline. I too thought, "borderline," how is that?
