Low Betas?

Hi All,

This is my first time writing. I found out I was preg on Tuesday (2/7), my beta that day was 28 (very low). I took another blood test on Thursday and it went up to 70. I'm getting another test tomorrow. What do you think? This is my first pregnancy, I'm nervous...

Hey, I see you are from the Chicago area!! If you don't mind telling, what RE are you seeing?

Your beta #'s are rising and this is good. As long as they keep going up I wouldn't worry too much.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

I am in my 2ww and beta is Mon. 13th, I am going to FCI in Orland/ River North.

Hey! I'm not seeing an RE as of yet. Right now, just a regular OBGYN. This is our first cycle trying, so no need for an RE yet...but I may need one at some point...

Good luck on the 13th! I never realized getting pregnany would give me anxiety about numbers, doubling, etc...

Welcome and Congrats!! Well as you know beta's can range widely and what you want to see is a doubling every 48-72 hours. Stay positive!!

NO I have only...

No I can get pregnant....but I have lost 4 babies 2 in 05 and this is the 3rd in less than a year....and the rest were previous.. it took us 4 years to get preg in April then 1 cycle of Clomid in Sept was preg in Oct. then D7c in Nov. I do see an RE thought for reaccurent Preg loss which they have no idea why and I am totally un med this cycle so i have NO HOPES at all for this preg. I know that sounds bad but I am numb....I am not even acting like I am preg I mean I am very careful as to what I eat and NO caffine but emotinally I am not attached at all I can't be not this time. I want to think otherwise but I feel sooo different... I am greatful though to be able to get this far..see it is a trade I can get preg and I can't carry and I have always seen a H/B and it just dies at like 8-10 weeks....and women who can't get preg do after years of heartache and suffering and they carry full term...so its a trade I figure if I make it to alteast 2 months by now I could have carried a baby and half term by now with all the months I have spent prego.
thanks,
Jonni
