new here and have a question.
my name is lisa. i had a tubal reversal on april 22 of 2005. 2 weeks ago i found out i was pregnant. last thursday i went t o the emergency room because i was having pain on my rite side down by my hip. i had had that pain before and it was a tubal pregnancy. so i went to go get checked out since i have a higher chance of them to begin with. anyway, they did test and sonogram and said to follow up with my dr the next day. my beta was 236 on that day. that following day ( friday) i went back tp the emergency room for the same thing my dr was there this time..they took anohter sonogram and beta ( i dont know the #s for that day) and she said by the sonogram i have a possible tubal again.. well i went into surgery and come to find out i DONT have a tubal..well yesterday ( Wednesday) i went to the emergency room again because i am bleeding and cramping.. they did another beta per order of my dr and i called them and they gave it to me.. it was 316.. in 5 days it hasnt even risen a 100.. im still waiting for my dr to call me back today.. what does every one think? am i have a miscarrage?it is so hard to sit here and not know anything..
thank you everyone for your time

I am so sorry about all this drama. It would be good to know what the 2nd beta was to see if perhaps it is decreasing? If it rises slowly it is said to indicate a tubal, but if it doubles normally then decreases it indicates a m/c. Although my RE says betas are unreliable generally, he does go by a certain "rule" to indicate a good pregnancy. That is, the betas must increase by 60% every 48 hours. Yours obviously have not, so it does not sound good, which I am sure you have already figured out. I hope thought that it is a chemical pregnancy (early m/c) and not a tubal though! I would corner your doctor for some answers. Good luck and so sorry about this!
