My fourth beta at 26 days post egg retrieval and ICSI is 20,230!
Ultrasound on Friday, hoping for one really strong little one.

Anyone that did IVF know how often they check betas at this point!

I can't see my RE because I went to a military hospital 9 hours away. No RE's here will see me since it is not their work. Dr I am seeing does do IUI's though.
TMI but I had a nasty sex dream and tons of cramping afterwards, HOW can I prevent a dream like that?

Congrats on the high beta! I did an FET, not IVF, but I expect the protocol is similar. They will likely stop doing betas as soon as you have your first u/s. The u/s is really the "gold standard" as to how the little one is doing, so there generally isn't a need to continue to check betas at that point.

Boy... not sure about the dream - I don't think you CAN control what your mind does when you're asleep! There was a thread on the general board about orgasms in sleep - might want to check that one out, too!

I think once you have your u/s they will stop the betas. The u/s will be the key at this point.

As for the dream, just enjoy!! I think that's all we can do. It won't hurt the baby if you have a dream like that....at least that's what I was told when I was pg with my twins.

Hi -- Congrats on the beta! I think you've done enough now. Seriously, 4 is a lot. They will certainly stop after the US although I'm already surprised they did that last one. Sex dreams are a total pg symptom. You've got a lot of hormones rushing around in there! Good luck Friday!
