just got a really big BFP (child ment)

Hi everyone -- I have to say I am just pleased as punch to be pg and I don't feel right posting on any of the other pg boards so here I am! I *just* got a BFP today -- but it was a big one -- 755! This was 11dp5dt. I'm pretty worried about multiples in that we transferred two blasts and I was on bed rest for 16 weeks with my DD because of incompetent cervix and that was with a singleton! Plus, I was borderline PPD with DD because of sleep deprivation -- twins, frankly, scare me to death.

Can you tell I'm a little ahead of myself?!?! It is amazing what 1 little successful pg does for you. I had 4 early losses before my DD and when I got pg with her I was so scared. I never let myself get "carried away." Now I am cocky. But seriously, I figure today I'm pg, I may as well enjoy it, I don't think it will hurt any less if I miscarry if I "hedge."

Thanks for listening to me ramble! My next beta is Mon., then again on Wed.

Congrats! I remember you from the IVF board and I am so glad to see you here! That is a great beta, but I understand your concerns with your history. My 11dp5dt beta was high at 453... and not to make you freak, but I am expecting triplets in February!

So excited for you! When is your next beta?

Congrats Monica!!! It's thrilling isn't it? I love your attitude, too -- I've been trying so hard NOT to be too excited, lest I get hurt if things go wrong. But you are so right, it won't hurt any less that I didn't fully enjoy this while it's here. I love that attitude, thank you for the reminder!

When's your first u/s scheduled for?? I just had my last (4th) beta yesterday, u/s is Monday. Exciting and very scary all at the same time!

Congrats again - you enjoy it!!!

Samantha

Hey Monica,
Congrats! I was cycling with you at the IVF board. We both got BFP!! But my beta was not that high! Only 300 at day 16 and I was worried about twins.
I love your outlook on enjoying the pregnancy through the worry. My Mom keeps saying that if I obsess this way I will miss the best part. So I will try to be cocky and happy about like you!
Thanks, cant wait to here your next results.
